Terms of service
Last updated: May 2026
These terms govern your use of the Earan website and the booking of domiciliary audiology services provided by Earan Ltd ("Earan", "we", "us"). By using our website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Earan Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 20 Yalden Gardens, Farnham, Surrey, GU10 1FJ, United Kingdom.
1. Our services
Earan provides domiciliary audiology services, including hearing tests, earwax removal by micro-suction, and hearing aid consultations. All appointments take place at the patient's home address within our coverage area in the South East of England.
Our audiologists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are bound by the HCPC Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics.
2. Booking and confirmation
- Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee an appointment. Your request is a request, not a confirmed booking.
- We will review your request and contact you by phone within one working day to discuss availability and confirm a specific appointment time.
- An appointment is only confirmed once we have spoken with you and you have received a confirmation SMS and/or email with a booking reference.
- The price shown during booking is an estimate. If the actual service differs (for example, if additional treatment is needed), we will discuss this with you before proceeding.
3. Cancellations and changes
- You may cancel a confirmed appointment free of charge by replying CANCEL to your confirmation SMS, or by calling us on 07474 606175.
- We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations so that we can offer the slot to another patient.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to practitioner illness, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer you an alternative date at no additional cost.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept card payments and cash.
- If you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please refer to our complaints procedure.
5. Your responsibilities
- You must provide accurate personal and health information when booking. Inaccurate pre-screening answers may affect the safety or suitability of the appointment.
- You must ensure the appointment address is accessible and that someone over 18 is present if the patient is under 16.
- You must inform us of any changes to your health relevant to the appointment.
6. Clinical decisions
Our audiologists may, at their professional discretion, decline to carry out a procedure if they believe it is not clinically appropriate or safe. In such cases, we will explain the reason and, where appropriate, recommend that you visit your GP or an ENT specialist. No charge will apply if the appointment cannot proceed for clinical reasons.
7. Liability
Earan carries professional indemnity insurance. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the appointment, except where liability cannot be limited by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate information provided by you, or from your failure to follow clinical advice given by our audiologists.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, design, logos, images) is owned by Earan Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the terms were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
